To create a schedule, navigate to the Schedule tab by tapping on the far right icon (it looks like a clock) or sliding over to it from your current screen. From here you can review, edit and remove all the schedules you have created for your Gear.
1. Creating a New Schedule
To begin, tap on the plus button at the bottom right corner of the screen to create a new schedule.
2. Select Your Gear
You can now select the Gear you would like to set a schedule for.
3. Choosing a Template
Gear has a variety of templates and options for setting schedules. You can choose between some pre-made templates for you to modify, or, you can create a new schedule from scratch by selecting the blank template.
4. Scheduling with Visual Mode
From the scheduling screen, you can visually set the time, shade adjustment and speed throughout the day. By tapping and dragging from the top of the light gray area, you can set what position you want the shade to be positioned at. By dragging on the of the left or right circles, you can set how long you want your shade to be in that position for.
5. Zooming In and Out in Visual Mode
You can zoom in to make precise adjustments by tap the magnifying glass + button at the lower right area of the screen and zoom out again by clicking the - button below it.
6. Toggling Low Speed
The adorable turtle icon in the dark gray area toggles the “low speed” option, which is perfect for situations where you want the shade to move slower than usual or to make less noise (like when waking up in the morning).
7. Scheduling with List Mode
By sliding up from the bottom of the screen that is titled “Weekdays”, opens a new screen where you can choose which days you would like your schedule to run for.
8. Adjusting and Adding Schedules with List Mode
From this screen, you can also see the schedule you made, sorted by a list of each adjustment. You can even edit the time, shade level and speed from this “list view”. Tapping on the plus button in this view will allow you to add a new adjustment to the schedule.
